A criminal tries to sell an H-Dial to Gummy, a member of the Invisible Mafia, but the H-Dial fails to work when the Question interrupts the transaction looking for information about Red Cloud. Clark Kent is contacted by Melody Moore who tells him that she has been ordered by the Mayor to stop investigating the arson fires. Red Cloud attacks Superman.
